Horse Hay Racks How High Should I Tie The Hay Net?

How high should I tie the hay net? - horse hay racks

In winter, we turn our horses in the sand, so I bought a net of hay, so that each can have its own hay, for there is no food shelf in the corner. How much should I add a link when the horses injured or atleast reduce the chances of that?

If you do no harm, is to help them or see them.

High, as if they lift their heads to eat.

I would say, a little lower, but if theres anyone see that all safety factors and more accurately observed.

If you are really a hay-net, then I would say about the level of the head, but I recommend a large bucket or container or something like that not on the floor, but your insurance company. Make sure its a great container though.

I do not know if it's possible for some reason, but it is better for the horse to leave the straw on the floor. Horses are designed to eat grass with their heads down for hours, and not with your head. It is more convenient for them in the ground.

If you're afraid to fight for hay, it is not enough, I need not worry as much as you with the grain. No horses have been carried out on hay. it is a problem, but just put a stack with a distance between them.

I do not know if many people on this forum with me, which agree, but ..

I always throwing straw on the floor of his office at night or put it in the corner office. I should mention that fact for the same reason. Nobody would be around when one of the horses ran into difficulties. So we've never used the networks of hay for that reason. Frankly, I see no reason to use another network to keep the soil as hay. If you keep it clean places, then I see no problem with setting the straw on the floor.

Even the horses to stretch the neck a little to reach the straw. It would not be able to leg and may pick up a helmet in the network.
There are smaller networks that are associated with a risk that the animals caught.

The general rule is to tie the horses in the chest, but it is better to feed on land because it is the natural way to eat horses

He did not even know to use because not only dangerous, but the horses best when they feed on the plant because they are herbivores. After the sack of hay can cause the spores and dust high into the nose and eyes, leading to further problems.

You have to add up, so that when empty and trailers that are not on their feet caught in it. A device for feeding animals (no hay rack), but it would be safer.
Personally, I put the straw on the floor for safety reasons.

I want the network to the link below, there are about 5 meters above the ground. This allows the network is still high enough, then everything went hay.

What do I do if my network is not complete, you should see how much is needed for the horses of my foot is not fixed. So when they are full do not worry.

What an answer to his own question. be dangerous to feel to a team of horses to be well in a house without supervision would be hanging hay nets. a network of hay should be hanged ... when the head is stationary. because they eat the grass, the bag is reduced. play good horse sense could easily hang in a hind one, with a ball that passes or is missing. is still connected to the idea of networks is a nylon rope pulls supposedly beter.
Cost of a plastic tube of mud with a network of hay. sucks plastic with handles can not work, so that there are so many spas like horses. Straw and fluff filled distribute things in sand boxes. I hope it will save their hay, so they do not trample.

It is wrong and against nature to eat it with his head on his cross, but with bags of hay must be removed, so that they can not get to hang with his foot. Could you put in hay in the sand? It is healthier for them, but if not, set a little higher than they wither. This makes sure not to keep your feet stuck.

fairly level with the seat or the middle ear. it really does not matter how long you can get it.
